I
Tai Lihua is the star, a producer of this film, and takes charge of dance arrangements. What should be mentioned is that she is also the narrator for the film and provides dubbing for sign language.
When she was a small child, she had a sweet voice when she called her mother and she sang beautifully. Unfortunately, she lost her hearing at the age of 2, due to the injection of medication. Ever since she has lived in a silent world. Without any language training, she can only communicate by sign language and written words.
However, she speaks in this film. The voice is gruff but comes from her heart. Because of her memory of sound, what she heard 29 years ago---- when she was 2 years old---- has not changed. Please don¡¯t be surprised for her accent of Hubei Province.

At the age of 7, she was sent to a deaf-mute school. In a rhythm class, the teacher stamped his foot like elephants pounding the floor. The rhythmic vibration went through her body from her feet. Suddenly, she was elated. She lay prone on the floor and used her body to absorb the wonderful sound.
From that time on, she became fascinated by dance ¨C an art form that is inseparable from music. She found a music made visible and colorful with a beautiful means to express her inner world.
At the age of 15, she has been the solo and lead dancer in China Disabled People¡¯s Performing Art Troupe. She has traveled to over 40 countries in Asia, Europe, America, Africa and Oceania. She not only performed in famous concert halls, such as the Scala Theatre in Italy, Carnegie Hall in New York, the Kennedy Center, Sydney Opera House, and the Rome Opera House, but also she has performed in
communities, schools and welfare institutions. She has been received by more than 20 heads of states and governments, herewith referred to as ¡°Messenger of Beauty and Humanity¡± by International Community, and as ¡°Ambassador for People with Disabilities in the World¡± by the Disabled People¡¯s International 6th World Assembly.
Happiness and gratitude, giftedness and diligence, opportunity and concern, all make Tai Lihua as an outstanding dancer. She acts every part like a miracle conforming to reality. It is referred to as ¡°an Angel of Beauty¡± and ¡°Bodhisattva with Kindness¡±.
